Release announcement: qbee.io

We are pleased to announce the release of qbee.io!

qbee.io is an IoT device management platform that allows you to manage all your embedded linux devices within one dashboard. Supported by Innovation Norway and Simula Innovations, qbee.io’s technology is designed for industrial security. It aims to bring value to its customers through four main pillars:

  • Remote access
  • Monitoring
  • Security
  • Automation

Being a powerful platform, qbee.io offers integrated solutions to solve a number of typical problems that often are addressed atomistically or not at all. The possibility to manage all this in one tool sets qbee.io apart. This creates a unique value proposition for our customers.

qbee.io includes a state based configuration engine. This allows powerful device configuration unmatched in the embedded industry. Moreover, remote connectivity and a built-in hosted VPN solution complete the offering that can be installed on any Linux system and be operational in less than 5 minutes.

Customers use qbee.io to quickly initiate POC (proof-of-concepts) and allow devices to immediately be located on-premise at their clients during the application development phase. In many cases qbee turns out to become the remote device management platform of choice throughout the edge devices’ lifecycle. There is no vendor lock-in and qbee can be removed again easily if it does not generate the promised value.

Key features and notable highlights of qbee.io include:

✓ enforce firewall rules, update users or rotate ssh keys

✓ secure remote web server and remote desktop (VNC) access
